disabling flash?

hey, was just wondering....how do i disable flash?. i have tried the jaws verbosity settings, but it only seems to work for a set amount of time, is there a way i can just get rid of it?

Um why would you want to disable flash? Flash is used in alot of websites, and is very critical for alot of websites to display and run properly. Not to mension, alot of stuff is embedded in flash, like media players, games, apps I think lots of stuff.
But then again, it could be a pain to some people considerabley the blind.

yeah, that's what i mean...wanna get rid of it, so that jaws does not keep jumping about the page

Have you heard of flashmute? It won't disable it, but with a keyboard shortcut of ctrl-alt-M, I believe... It'll mute the music/movie that may automaticly start running. Very helpful when the escape key won't stop it.
